Prevailed by numbers Jupiter (2019) , Saturn (Venue), and Mercury & Moon partially

Blue is the color of the season ....

My top favorite to enter Semi Final - England ( the only ICC event they won was 2010 (3))

Next is India , as like last world cup semis will be crucial ,
 followed by New Zealand ( Too much black in dress  will hurt their chances )

Pakistan is my outsider for this tournament , with West India the black horses .

South Africa again will choke or underperform , they will lose out on a pressure match to get knocked out

Australia might fizzle out due lack of team work , a Blue team will knock them out of the world cup.

SL or Afghanistan can create atleast one historic upset .

Semi Finals sure - England, India , New Zealand
4th semi finalist is very interesting , SL Afghanistan can decide the 4th one.

Cup winners in order from highest -
England, New Zealand , Pakistan , India , West Indies

IPL 2019 Predictions

Part 1 of my predictions

This is early predictions based only on Team numbers and captain numbers

Will look at knockout match dates in detail - MI,CSK will always look strong based on their super numbers and captain-team alignment,

If RCB had better numbers, Virat could have been in the above bracket but RCB-Virat is extremely non-harmonious numbers for super success

Two teams by default which look extremely strong

Mumbai Indians - both MI & Rohit are Number 3 's , they will make it to knockouts
( topsy turvy journey /string of losses/wins surely possible )

Chennai my second favorites to reach Knockouts - home performance will be super
Expect not so smooth journey

Mumbai - Chennai finals could be distinct possibility, Delhi/Punjab could be one of top 3

Hyderabad most likely to challenge above but again cup winner not likely, in Knockouts surely

RCB not likely to win the Cup ... Virat will make blunder in later stages of IPL (May) or slump in form

Delhi/Punjab can be outsiders and dark horses... they are the ones who can challenge Mumbai or Chennai

Rajasthan will not find great favor in the pink dress for this year

Delhi change in name and t-shirt color both favorable can do well in league phases

KKR might be lucky this year but fall in critical moments

A simple question with even simpler answer in Tennis - Who is Greatest of All Time - "GOAT"

The key thing in tennis is different surfaces it is played on,
Wimbledon & French clearly are the two most different surfaces.

For top players with atleast 8 Grand Slam wins
Simple look at the numbers below with two key variables -
A - Total Grand Slams won
C - Slams won excluding favorite surface

The variable "C' is created purely to remove the single surface impact

Roger Federer clearly leads in both the variables,
Pete Sampras comes 2nd on his consistency,
I expect Djokovic to come up the list by winning French, Wimbledon or US open

Bill Tilden, Rafael Nadal and Jimmy Connors clearly prefer one surface are not consistent across surfaces

Bjorn Borg has won 6 French & 5 Wimbledon - the only player to do well in these two different surfaces

Year 2017 - ruled by Sun 

League phase ruled by Venus 

Knockouts ruled by Gemini

Favorable numbers 

Highly Favorable  - 1,4,5,8

Medium favorable - 3,2,6,7

Tournament will have ups and downs, 
Leaders-Captains and Opening will play critical roles

Hard Hitters and high scoring will be flavor of the tournaments 

Favorites will come back from nowhere to be in playoffs

My top 3 favorites 

1. Gujarat Lions - Surely in Playoffs, Very likely in Finals and strong chances 

2. Rising Pune Super Giants - Will manage to scamper in playoffs, Steve Smith lifting cup is difficult, MS can do it if captainship changes

3. Kings XI Punjab - Surely a fantastic season for them , Miller can take them to finals, Maxwell can have up and down season but surely better

Mumbai - Will hover near middle of table, need luck to get through 

Sunrisers Hyderabad - can do well , but repeat of cup looks difficult

Bangalore will not win especially if Kohli returns as captain , they will struggle in away games

Teams need to beware from Delhi, they can upset in critical matches

Tournament will have huge runs scored , expect high chases and record runs scored for IPL season

Hard Hitters will be flavor of the tournaments 

First match teams is likely be repeated in the knockouts

Very Strong Chances to be in top 4

- Will make a powerful debut

- High Scores and hitters will be there strengths

- Need to be careful while defending

Will surprise few teams, can knockout out one of the favorites

But can face some bad luck in critical matches or lose from a very winning position 

If they can overcome that downfall, can reach finals

Strong Chances to be in top 4 

- Runs will keep flowing, Powerplays strikes and great catches will amaze all

- High Scores and hitters will be there strengths

- Need to be careful in second half and especially in Knockouts

Bangalore will be consistent and score big but leak big rus as well

Under pressure they will buckle and might face trouble performing in critical times 

Might make Top 4 but difficult times ahead 

- KKR will remain in contention, especially luck of Gambhir can rub off on the team 

- Delhi Daredevils are dark horses, 

- Sunrisers will falter and miss out in critical matches
